Council of Leaders

Overview

Within the context of the Turner Student Fellowship the class leader system/cell group serves also:

  1. To contact the members on a weekly basis through phone, electronic mail, or through face-to-face meetings outside of the classroom;

  2. To ensure that each member of his/her perspective class possesses a copy of The Turner Fellowship Constitution and By Laws, The Interdenominational Theological Center Catalog, a welcome/fellowship packet, calendar of all Turner meetings;

  3. In bridging the gap between the executive branch of the fellowship and the members;

  4. To report at every calendared meeting

    1. the whereabouts of each member,

    2. those who are sick,

    3. those who have lost a loved one,

    4. those in need of prayerful attention;

  5. To guarantee that everyone on his/her class has fully paid their fellowship dues;

  6. To encourage members of the class to attend Fellowship Late Night Worship Services;

  7. To design a program based on the area of ministry their particular class focuses during the Fall and/or Spring Semester.

  8. To work in harmony with the aims of the Turner Theological Seminary;

  9. And lastly, to uplift the tradition of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
